Survey finds public support for geoengineering research
Although geoengineering is important when thinking about reducing climate change, many people are unaware of the term. After a survey was conducted, researchers concluded that people could not define this term yet on the other hand had a better understanding of climate engineering which is an alternative term. The survey was completed by 3,105 participants from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Overall it is surprising how geoengineering could be a solution to global warming yet many are currently unaware of what this term actually means.
